Job summary

Aspen One is seeking a Barback to support bar setup, service, and cleanliness at Aspen Snowmass’ bar areas. You will assist with running food, stock items, and describe menu offerings to guests.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of restaurant experience; familiarity with Forbes 5-Star standards; strong communication and teamwork skills. This seasonal full-time position offers company benefits.

• Working knowledge on wine-cellar and able to find wines if/when needed.
• Produce specialty hot beverages.
• Familiar and follows Colorado liquor laws, does not serve intoxicated guest or minors.

Position Summary

The Barback sets up and breaks down the bar area and all of its supplies, ensuring that the bar is fully stocked before and throughout service. The Barback also assists with running food and bussing tables. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
• Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
