Job summary

Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown is seeking a Barback to support our bar and beverage team. You will stock drinks, garnishes, and glassware while helping to keep the bar area organized and clean, enabling bartenders to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role emphasizes punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to safety policies, with opportunities to grow within a premier downtown property and access to the benefits package for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months related experience or equivalent training/experience.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (state regulations).
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Maintain professionalism and respectful conduct.
• Adhere to safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar with drinks, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Assist bar services by organizing supplies, cleaning stations/bar-top/tables, and inventory records.
• May assist serving customers and guests as directed by bartenders/bar management.
