Job summary

Colony Grill in Connecticut is seeking a service-oriented Barback to support our hospitality team with bar setup, stocking, and general service assistance, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

You will work closely with bartenders, managers, and kitchen staff, maintaining clean, organized bar stations, restocking supplies, and coordinating to keep service fast and friendly for every guest.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and carry service items for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to carry supplies (10-30 lbs.) and move items that are heavy (up to 50lbs.)

Responsibilities

• Assist bartender and manager with efficient bar set up from the beginning to end of shift.
• Keep bar stocked with liquor, glasses, napkins, and all other necessary items before and during service.
• Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs, and restock napkins and straws.
• Keep bar area neat; cleaning as needed, remove glassware and organize all sections of bar stations.
• Coordinate with managers, frontline team members and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service to guests.
