Job summary

Paddy's Beach Club in Westerly, RI is seeking an enthusiastic Barback to support our beachfront restaurant. Enjoy hourly pay plus tips as part of a team delivering great drinks and service.

The 2025 season runs May through October with on-site shifts and weekend availability. Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, bartending prep, inventory restocking, equipment checks, and keeping the bar clean and compliant with regulations.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including walking, standing or lifting heavy items for extended periods including working nights, weekends and holidays.

We are looking for an ENTHUSIASTIC Barback to provide an excellent support services at our beachfront restaurant. Great barbacks will be passionate about working as part of a team to deliver excellent drinks and service to customers. Compensation includes hourly wage plus tips. Our 2025 season runs from May-October.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing duties.


• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktail batches


• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies and ensuring bartenders are setup for success.


• Checking taps and appliances to confirm they are working properly, making minor repairs, or changing out kegs, if needed.


• Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas and emptying trash/recycling receptacles.


• Assisting with checking in, counting and putting away glassware/beverage orders.


• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
