Job summary

Paddy's Beach Club in Westerly, RI is seeking an enthusiastic Barback to support our beachfront restaurant. Enjoy hourly pay plus tips as part of a team delivering great drinks and service.

The 2025 season runs May through October with on-site shifts and weekend availability. Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, bartending prep, inventory restocking, equipment checks, and keeping the bar clean and compliant with regulations.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including walking, standing or lifting heavy items for extended periods including working nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktail batches.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies and ensuring bartenders are set up for success.
• Check taps and appliances to confirm they are working properly and change kegs if needed.
• Keep the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash/recycling.
• Assist with checking in, counting and putting away glassware and beverage orders.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
