Paddy’s Restaurant & Hotel in Westerly, RI is seeking an enthusiastic Barback to support our beachfront dining team. The role focuses on keeping the bar stocked, assisting bartenders, and ensuring smooth service during our May–October season.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Ability to meet physical demands including walking, standing or lifting heavy items for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktail batches.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies; ensure bartenders are set up for success.
• Check taps and appliances; perform minor repairs or change kegs as needed.
• Keep the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and handling glassware.
• Assist with checking in, counting and putting away glassware/beverage orders.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
