Job summary

Paddy’s Restaurant & Hotel in Westerly, RI is seeking enthusiastic bartenders to create guest experiences at our beachfront restaurant. Compensation includes hourly wage plus tips; our 2025 season runs May–October.

You will prepare cocktails and non-alcohol beverages, interact with guests, take orders, restock supplies, and ensure a clean, compliant bar. On-site interviews are available during our Hiring Day on April 25, 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender is required.
• Knowledge of drink mixing and garnishing.
• Experience with POS systems, TOAST preferred.
• Maintain bar inventory and cleanliness.
• State-approved alcohol awareness training.

We are looking for enthusiastic Bartenders to provide guest experiences at our beachfront restaurant. Great bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customer needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage plus tips. Our 2025 season runs from May-October.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurants patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers´ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers' identifications and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all beverage regulations

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, blending, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Experience with POS systems, preferably TOAST
• Positive to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
• Relevant state-approved alcohol awareness training
