ISS Guckenheimer in Florida is seeking a Barback to assist bartenders, restock supplies, replace kegs, and keep the bar area clean to deliver an outstanding guest experience. The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean spills, manage glassware, and keep the counter organized.
• Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security for efficient service.
• Handle emergencies and follow safety rules to prevent accidents.
• Perform end-of-shift closeout tasks.

Key Purpose

The Barback will assist Bartenders to ensure they have everything they need to efficiently serve our guests. Their duties may include replacing kegs, restocking glasses and supplies, and keeping the area clean to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Hourly Wage

The hourly pay range for this position is $16.00 per hour - $18.54 per hour .

Work Hours

The work hours for this position may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Key Accountabilities

• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins, and all necessary items before and during service hours
• Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs, and restock napkins and straws
• Moving, placing tables and chairs to accommodate volume
• Clean up spills, remove glassware and organize the counter
• Keep the bar area neat and clean
• Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security personnel to ensure efficient service to customers
• Handle emergency situations, like cleaning up broken glass and clearing up clogged drains. Must follow all safety rules and be actively aware and observant in the prevention of accidents
• Commitment to the service values and ethics per the company’s standard
• Perform end-of-shift closeout tasks
• Must follow other duties as assigned

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• May be exposed to heat, cold, humidity, and other weather conditions
• Employees must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
