Job summary

Swingers Dupont Circle is looking for a Barback to join our team in Dupont Circle. Earn $17.95 per hour plus tips and enjoy a suite of benefits.

The Barback will support the bar team, stock and organize, and help maintain a clean, efficient service area, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as barback or busser in a busy environment
• TIPS alcohol certification
• Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within the company
• The ability to work under pressure and to a high standard
• The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Support the bar department and bar team during shifts
• Interact with guests and assist with service
• Stock, organize, and maintain bar supplies
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas
• Ensure efficiency of the bar operations during service

The role:

The Barback is responsible for supporting the bar department and bar team as needed both in advance of and throughout the shift. This role involves interacting with guests, stocking, organizing, maintaining overall cleanliness and ensuring the efficiency of the bar and surrounding areas
