Job summary

Swingers – the crazy golf club in Dupont Circle is hiring a Barback to support the bar team and ensure smooth operations during shifts.

The role requires guest interaction, stock management, and maintaining a clean and efficient bar area, with responsibilities that include lifting heavy items and working nights and weekends. Swingers offers competitive pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as barback or busser in a busy environment.
• TIPS alcohol certification.
• Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within the company.
• Ability to work under pressure and to a high standard.
• The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• The Barback supports the bar department and bar team before and during the shift.
• Interact with guests, stock, organize, and maintain cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas.
• Help ensure efficiency of the bar operations and guest experiences.

The role:

The Barback is responsible for supporting the bar department and bar team as needed both in advance of and throughout the shift. This role involves interacting with guests, stocking, organizing, maintaining overall cleanliness and ensuring the efficiency of the bar and surrounding areas.
