Job summary

BENCHMARK is seeking a Bar Back at The Belgrove Resort to assist bartenders and servers in delivering exceptional hospitality and maintaining a clean bar area. The role involves greeting guests, ensuring the bar is well-stocked and clean, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to provide top-notch service.

Ideal candidates will have a welcoming personality, knowledge of beverages, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure settings. A commitment to creating an excellent guest experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily.
• Assist bartenders in securing requisitioned liquor, beer, and wine.
• Ensure the bar area stays clean, with clean glasses stocked.
• Serve as the master of the bar, understanding operational details.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
