Job Description

The ideal bar back is detail oriented, self-motivated, and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.

Location: Sacramento, CA

Employment Type: Part-Time

Salary: $10.50 per hour

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by quickly and efficiently clearing the bar top and cocktail tables
• Carry large loads of dishes to the kitchen for washing
• Support other areas of the restaurant as necessary, such as setup, cleanup, prep work, and equipment maintenance
• Re-stock work areas to support the bartenders
• Run drinks to tables for guests
• Wash and maintain bar glassware
• Accurately pour beer and wine for bartenders when they are impacted
• Cut garnishes for bar use

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum of 1 year experience in food service/hospitality desired, but not required
• Customer service focused and solution-oriented
• Enjoy and succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on restaurant needs
• Food handler's card may be required according to local and state regulations
