The Hotel Alex Johnson in Rapid City, SD is seeking a motivated bar back to support fast-paced food and beverage service in a historic downtown setting. You will clear tables quickly, keep water topped up, and assist with guest needs while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and listening skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with the general public, employees, co-workers and with all levels of management.
• Highly organized, results oriented with the ability to be flexible with schedules, assignments and additional duties.
• Must be able to read the menu.
• Must be able to lift bus tubs up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by quickly and efficiently clearing tables.
• Will ensure that that guests water glasses full.
• Carry large loads of dishes to kitchen for washing.
• Clean and sanitize throughout the shift and takes out trash.
• Assists with Guest needs as they arise.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
