Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters in Palmyra, NY is seeking a Barback to help keep the bar stocked, clean, and running smoothly in a fast-paced setting. You’ll be essential to the team, ensuring bartenders have what they need to serve guests quickly and efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and teamwork mindset who wants a path into the bartending world. Training will be provided, flexibility is offered, and tips are expected as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Previous barback or restaurant experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person.
• Must be able to hustle and stay on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• A can-do attitude and reliability are required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, ice, and mixers.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.

What You'll Do:

• Keep the bar stocked - Refill liquor, beer, ice, and mixers so the bartenders never run dry.
• Maintain a clean & organized bar - Wipe down surfaces, remove empty glasses, and make sure everything is spotless.
• Support the bartenders - Anticipate their needs, run for supplies, and help them serve drinks efficiently.
• Restock & prep - Cut garnishes, refill napkins and straws, and make sure every detail is covered.
• Move fast & stay sharp - Bars get busy, and you'll be in the thick of it, keeping everything running smoothly.
