StaffedUp is seeking a Barback to support fast-paced bar operations in Washington, DC. You’ll restock liquor, beer, ice, and supplies, keep surfaces clean, and assist bartenders to ensure smooth service. No prior barback experience required—training provided. This role offers flexible scheduling and a path to bartending.

Qualifications

• Reliable and fast on your feet, able to work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, ice, and mixers.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and wipe down surfaces.
• Support bartenders by running for supplies and assisting service.
• Restock and prep garnishes, napkins, straws, and related items.

What You’ll Do:

• Keep the bar stocked – Refill liquor, beer, ice, and mixers so the bartenders never run dry.
• Maintain a clean & organized bar – Wipe down surfaces, remove empty glasses, and make sure everything is spotless.
• Support the bartenders – Anticipate their needs, run for supplies, and help them serve drinks efficiently.
• Restock & prep – Cut garnishes, refill napkins and straws, and make sure every detail is covered.
• Move fast & stay sharp – Bars get busy, and you’ll be in the thick of it, keeping everything running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

• Great teamwork and communication skills.
