Job summary

Barsella, a new upscale Italian restaurant and cocktail room on SMU Blvd in Dallas, is hiring a bar support role to keep the bar running and the bartenders sane. You stock the well, cut garnishes, haul ice, reset glassware, and wipe down as you go.

The bar is busiest 7pm–2am; you help with prep and batching, learn recipes hands-on, and anticipate bar needs before the bartender runs out. This is a stepping stone to bartending with us, with consistent scheduling and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Able to move quickly and efficiently during busy service hours.
• Capable of handling high-volume bar duties with focus and stamina.
• Willing to learn recipes hands-on and adapt to bar needs.

Responsibilities

• Stock the well before service and maintain it during the shift.
• Cut garnishes, haul ice, reset glassware, and wipe down as you go.
• Maintain a revolving bar rail, clear dishes, and place fresh settings.

Barsella is a new upscale Italian restaurant and cocktail room on SMU Blvd, opening in December.

You keep the bar running and the bartenders sane. You stock the well before service and maintain it throughout. You cut garnishes, haul ice, reset glassware, and wipe down as you go. You maintain a revolving bar rail, clearing dishes and glassware, and placing fresh settings.

The bar is busiest from dinner into late night, and our strongest hours are 7pm to 2am, this is where we rely on you the most to keep the bartenders serving drinks. You help with prep and batching, learning all of our recipes hands-on.

What we actually care about:you're fast, and good at moving a lot of weight throughout the night. You see what the bar needs before the bartender runs out and you handle it.

The facts of the job:

• Wage // 9-13 an hour plus tip-out (2% of total sales from bar directly to you).
  
• Schedule // Shifts from 3pm-9pm, shifts from 9pm-2am + close.
