Job summary

The Smith in Niagara Falls is seeking a Barback to support bartenders during service and keep the bar well-stocked and clean. You’ll prep garnishes and glassware, while assisting the team to ensure smooth service in a lively hospitality setting.

• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas during shift.
• Handle end-of-night duties and reset for next service.

THE POSITION: BARBACK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support bartenders throughout service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times
• Restock bar supplies, including changing kegs, replenishing syrups, and preparing garnishes
• Wash and polish glassware as needed to maintain par levels
• Anticipate the needs of the bar team and proactively assist during service
• Uphold cleanliness standards by maintaining all bar areas throughout the shift
• Complete end-of-night responsibilities, including removing trash, cleaning bar stools, and resetting the bar for the next service
