Job summary

THE SMITH seeks a dedicated Barback to support bartenders during service, keeping the bar clean, stocked, and efficient. You will restock kegs, syrups, and garnishes, wash glassware, and help the team throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates have barback experience and a passion for hospitality, aiming to create a great guest experience and a lively atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders throughout service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times.
• Restock bar supplies, including changing kegs, replenishing syrups, and preparing garnishes.
• Wash and polish glassware as needed to maintain par levels.
• Anticipate the needs of the bar team and assist during service.
• Uphold cleanliness standards by maintaining bar areas during shifts.
• Complete end-of-night responsibilities, including trash removal and resetting the bar.

THE POSITION: BARBACK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support bartenders throughout service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times
• Restock bar supplies, including changing kegs, replenishing syrups, and preparing garnishes
• Wash and polish glassware as needed to maintain par levels
• Anticipate the needs of the bar team and proactively assist during service
• Uphold cleanliness standards by maintaining all bar areas throughout the shift
• Complete end-of-night responsibilities, including removing trash, cleaning bar stools, and resetting the bar for the next service
