Job summary

Copper Canyon Golf Club in Buckeye, AZ is seeking an entry-level Bartender Assistant to support beverage operations and guest service, ensuring friendly, efficient service.

The role involves stocking, opening/closing duties, POS transactions, and adherence to ServSafe/TIPS standards. Prior restaurant experience preferred; fluent English required; lifting up to 25 pounds; flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Previous working experience in restaurant environment.
• ServSafe/Food & Alcohol or TIPS certification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assist bartender with cleaning, stocking, and beverage preparation and service.
• Stock bar and assist in inventory control and keeping records.
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to bartender or manager.
• Perform opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning and restocking.
• Process transactions using the Point of Sale system.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of portable bars for catered events.
• Occasionally serve meals to guests.
• Ensure safe work practices and maintain regular attendance.

Description

Assists Bartender with cleaning, stocking, and other tasks.Assistswithbeveragepreparation and service and adheres to allestablished standards.Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages,assistsin cost control, inventory andmaintaininginventory records.
• Assists &supports ininventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with managementin a timely mannerwhen suppliesare needed.
• Communicatesguest requests and concerns to the Bartenderand/orDepartment Manager.
• Performs opening and closingduties whichinclude, but are not limitedto:inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.

Physical Demands

Certificates/Licenses
