Kelly Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead a multi-workstream operational improvement program at a leading industrial manufacturer in Baraga, MI. This onsite role demands coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking milestones, and delivering measurable business outcomes in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in manufacturing operations, lean experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, or consulting.
• Strong ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive accountability.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing and able to work on-site in Baraga, MI, 4+ days per week for the duration.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, aftermarket parts/service, heavy equipment or industrial manufacturing.
• Familiar with SIOP/production planning and ERP systems such as D365.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track progress across five operational improvement workstreams.
• Maintain weekly milestone tracking, KPI dashboards, and risk logs.
• Engage daily with plant leadership to translate plans into actionable tasks.
• Support implementation of standard work and bottleneck resolutions.
• Track supplier actions on cost and lead time and improve parts availability.
• Prepare weekly executive updates and KPI reports for leadership reviews.
• Build KPI scorecards and validate data inputs across functions.
