Job summary

Employbridge seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Director to lead a Michigan-based facility of ~100 employees. The role drives production performance, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on safety and leadership development.

The ideal candidate will oversee scheduling, bottleneck elimination, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Quality to optimize processes and meet on-time delivery targets in a $30M-$50M+ environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading facilities with 75-100+ employees and $30M-$50M+ environment.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Experience in electronics, custom manufacturing, industrial products, signage, or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
• Manage production scheduling, workflow planning, and resource allocation.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks while improving throughput and reducing waste.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality to resolve production challenges and enhance processes.
• Develop, mentor, and lead managers and supervisors.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, workforce planning, and operational excellence.
