Job summary

Grand Hyatt Nashville is seeking a Barback to support bartenders, maintain stock, and uphold cleanliness across the lobby and restaurant bars. The role offers $14.00 per hour plus tips, with free parking and benefits described by Hyatt.

You will inventory, restock, prepare syrups and beverages, replenish supplies during service, and help ensure a warm guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Previous barback or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with bar operations and beverage service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the bar for service by inventorying and restocking glassware, ice, disposables and essentials.
• Assist with perpetual inventory and restocking as items are ordered and stored.
• Support beverage team with syrups, bitters, juices and related items.
• Replenish supplies during service including beer, wine, liquor, juices and snacks.
• Clear, clean and sanitize bar surfaces between guest interactions.
• Provide ware washing and transport to keep bar stocked during operations.
• Assist guests to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Break down the bar at end of service and perform other duties as assigned.
