Responsibilities

• Assist in bar setup and preparation including linens, glassware, garnishes, and stock.
• Greet guests warmly and provide personal service.
• Explain drink and menu items, offer recommendations and daily specials.
• Take orders, enter into POS/computer system, and relay to kitchen staff.
• Check IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks quickly at the bar.
• Ensure guests are enjoying items; address issues as needed.
• Clear and transport dishes to kitchen for cleaning.
• Prepare and present guest checks and handle special requests (e.g., split checks).
• Restock glassware, bar items, and maintain cleanliness of bar area.
