Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Hawaii is seeking a friendly Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced setting. You’ll craft cocktails, engage guests, and help create memorable moments across our bars, lounges, and outlets.

You should have experience in hospitality, knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, and be comfortable with POS systems and cash handling. Flexible availability, TIPS certification preferred; base pay range $35.14-$37.14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, restaurant, hotel, lounge, nightlife, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and brand standards.
• Provide exceptional guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Operate POS systems and process orders accurately.
• Support bar setup, inventory, and opening/closing duties.
• Follow safety and alcohol service guidelines.
• Collaborate with servers and F&B leadership to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with upselling promotions and beverage programs.
