Job summary

Gjelina Group seeks a Bartender for Gjelina Las Vegas. The role involves welcoming guests, taking and delivering beverage orders, and maintaining bar cleanliness and stock. You will provide knowledge of cocktails and wines, while following safety and sanitation protocols.

The position requires excellent guest service, speed, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Training and certifications in alcohol awareness and food handling are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
• State approved Alcohol Awareness Training / TAM Card required.
• State approved Prevention of Sexual Harassment Training / Certificate required.
• Food Handler Card required.

Responsibilities

• Take guests' food and beverage orders, Coursing, utilize salesmanship techniques, and make appropriate recommendations
• Input orders into POS system, correctly
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar
• Follow all responsible alcohol practices, including carding guests who appear under 40
• Prepare the Bar for opening and closing of each shift; stocking, cleaning, and preparing
