Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts in Pennsylvania is seeking a courteous bartender to serve guests in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused bar. You will maintain bar setup, stock beverages and garnishes, and ensure a smooth service with accuracy and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, preparing drinks, handling cash and POS transactions, and complying with all state and corporate requirements for serving alcohol. Teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality: experience preferred.
• Strong guest communication skills.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic drinks.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS use.
• Dexterity to handle garnishes, glassware and stock.
• Ability to recall menu items and describe offerings.
• Ability to operate POS and close checks accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in tight spaces.
• Ability to work well with colleagues and guests, adapting communication as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper bar setup and stocking of beer, wine, spirits, and supplies daily.
• Prepares, garnishes, and serves drinks according to standard recipes and portion controls.
• Greets guests, takes orders, and documents drinks to ensure accountability of beverages served.
• Adheres to all State, Federal and Corporate requirements for serving alcohol.
• Inputs orders into a POS, balances checks and handles cash with accuracy.
• Locks and stores beverage and equipment items; manages cash drops and banking.
