White Lodging's Boiler Up Bar – Union Club Hotel at Purdue is seeking a bartender to provide top-tier service in a fast-paced setting. You will deliver high-quality service, know menu items inside out, maintain bar cleanliness, handle payments, and contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused team

Qualifications

• Outgoing and social personality.
• Eye for detail.
• Passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Collaborative, team-player mindset.
• Previous bartending experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to all guests, creating personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive suggestions, and engaging surroundings.
• Maintain high cleaning standards of the bar and complete daily cleaning and side work.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer guest questions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
• Process all payment methods and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to creating a friendly and safe work environment.
• Check identification of all guests and monitor beverage consumption to prevent overservice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
