Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: One year of experience serving food or drinks preferred.
• Knowledge: POS system knowledge and basic math skills required.
• Abilities: Effective communication, able to work extended hours, and flexible to varying shifts (nights/weekends/holidays).
• Certification: TIP's Certification required within first 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Takes drink and food orders from customers.
• Serves drinks and food to guests.
• Collects money for drinks and food served to guests.
• Balances cash receipts.
• Maintains work area by cleaning tables, chairs, and related items.
• Cleans glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Assists with stocking server stations and related supplies.
• Checks identification and confirms customer age.
• Follows regulations related to serving alcohol and TIP's guidelines.
