Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort is seeking a bartender to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain a clean, efficient bar area in a high-energy, guest-focused setting.

Responsibilities include taking orders, describing daily specials, assisting guests with beverages, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation policies. Prior bartending experience and required WA permits are essential.

Qualifications

• Must obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• Hold and maintain a WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
• Alcohol Service Permit Class 12 required.
• 1 year bartending experience required.
• Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed table, before, during and after guests are served.
• Take orders and present food to guests.
• Help guests’ select food and beverage items (i.e.: explaining daily specials, offering appetizers, or answering food preparation questions).
• Keep wait station area clean and restocked.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Complete specific daily/weekly cleaning duties.
• Provide excellent guest service by providing a positive dining experience.
• Conclude dining experience by thanking the guests and inviting them to return.
• Create, maintains, and facilitates a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
