Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Bartender at our Randalls location in Boise to deliver excellent customer service at the bar, manage drink orders, and help maintain inventory and a safe, inviting atmosphere.

The role requires reading guest orders, following recipes, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on quality and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must maintain state Food Handler’s Permit.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Interact with customers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of food exploration, innovation and education for guests and employees.
• Deliver a consistently high-level customer service to each customer and maintain a safe environment by identifying any issues.
• Takes customer orders and relays them to the kitchen staff.
• Facilitate the filling of drink orders between customers and the bar.
• Suggest additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks, when appropriate.
• Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.
• Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar satisfied at all times.
• Uphold set standard and enforce food and drink preparations and handling ensuring compliance with company food safety policy.
