Job summary

Ray's in the City is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and develop the team, delivering exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role works closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Director of Beverage to optimize inventory, staff performance, and beverage quality.

Located in Atlanta, GA, this role requires strong leadership, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a bar or beverage program.
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee liquor, beer, wine, and bar supply orders and inventory.
• Lead scheduling and staff development for bartenders and service staff.
• Monitor pour costs, waste, and product variances; review invoices and pricing.
• Coordinate seasonal menu changes and new product orders; maintain vendor relationships.
• Ensure glassware, bar supplies, and event inventory are stocked and ready.
• Coach, train, and hold the bar team to Ray's service standards.
