Job summary

PICASSOS SPORTS BAR LLC is seeking a Bar Manager to oversee all bar operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, controlling costs, and leading a high-performing bar team in a fast-paced setting.

You will manage inventory, train staff, coordinate with kitchen and floor teams, and ensure compliance with alcohol laws while driving revenue and guest experience.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a hands-on approach to service and cost management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of bar management or lead bartender experience.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, cocktails, and bar operations.
• Proven leadership and team-management skills.
• Experience with inventory control and cost management.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and high-volume events.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience with promotions, events, or drink specials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations to ensure speed, quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality at all times.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and responsible service policies.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate bar service with kitchen and floor teams during peak periods.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and barbacks.
• Lead by example during service, including bartending when needed.
• Conduct ongoing training on recipes, service standards, upselling, and safety.
• Coach, discipline, and evaluate bar staff performance.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture.
