Job summary
Picasso's Sports Pub in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to support the Bar Manager in leading beverage operations and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This hands-on role supervises daily bar activities, coaches bartenders and barbacks, maintains beverage quality, and ensures compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies.
The position serves as the Manager on Duty when needed, staffing the bar, and contributing to a fun, safe, and efficient environment
Qualifications
- Led teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Experience supervising bar operations in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop bar staff; set daily goals and coach on service standards.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering hospitality and resolving issues quickly.
- Oversee beverage preparation, bar cleanliness, and stock management.
- Monitor inventory, costs, and par levels; report discrepancies.
- Manage cash handling, POS procedures, and tip reporting.
- Enforce responsible alcohol service and NC ABC compliance.
- Assist with scheduling and administrative records.
