Job summary

Circle Concepts LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead daily bar operations, craft cocktails, manage service quality, and collaborate with Front of House to elevate the program.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, the ability to multitask in a high-volume setting, and a solid knowledge of wine and spirits; familiarity with Toast or Margin’s Edge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a bar manager or similar role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Basic math and cash handling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Collaborate with FOH managers to enhance the bar program.
• Create a weekly bar schedule and cleaning schedule.
• Pricing of new items and inventory management.
• Develop featured drinks including mocktails.
• Maintain strong team communication, cleanliness and knowledge.
• Ensure proper liquor storage and inventory controls.
• Serve both bar guests and floor guests.

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and personable Bar Manager to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, show exceptional leadership skills, organization abilities, a familiarity with pricing and inventory, as well as be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine
• Work closely with FOH managers to bring in new products and enhance the current bar program
• Create a weekly bar schedule along with cleaning schedule
• Pricing of new items
• Create featured drinks including mocktails
• Enhance current bar team communication, cleanliness, personability and knowledge
• Maintaining a tight inventory
• Creating an organization protocol for liquor storage
• Serve both bar guests and floor guests

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a bar manager or in a similar role at a Restaurant. No Baristas Please.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of both wine and spirits
• Basic math skills
