Job Summary

As our Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the lounge, ensuring all food and drinks meet quality standards, and that staff adhere to service steps while operating within budget.

Essential Job Functions

This summary outlines primary responsibilities and qualifications. The job may include additional duties now or in the future. The hotel operates 24/7, requiring flexibility in shifts, start times, and hours worked.

• Supervise daily lounge operations through active floor presence.
• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage recipes; ensure staff execution to standards.
• Manage food and beverage revenue and expenses accurately.
• Identify revenue opportunities, cost issues, and operational problems.
• Create and distribute staff schedules promptly.
• Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies, including menus, promotions, and displays, aligned with brand and DHM guidelines to increase in-house and local market patronage.
• Ensure sanitation and maintenance of food and beverage areas and equipment to protect assets, comply with regulations, and deliver quality service.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Previous experience in food and beverage roles.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage management, including team leadership and problem-solving.
• Motivated team player with initiative and achievement drive.
• Effective problem-solving skills in workplace challenges.
• Ability to work well under stress.
• Approachable and committed to providing excellent guest service.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Must lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds frequently.
