Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is hiring a Bar Attendant to deliver warm, efficient service at Harrah’s. You’ll greet guests, promote Total Rewards, and ensure a positive experience in a smoking environment.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, preparing fruit and ice, cleaning and resetting service areas, assisting bartenders, and upholding Beverage Control procedures while following safety and service standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtains supplies and equipment for each bar and places liquors, fruits, glasses, linen or silverware in their respective places.
• Slices and pits fruit and fills ice bins with cubed or crushed ice from the ice machine in the kitchen area.
• Washes and dries beverage glasses for the bartender and carries away all the debris accumulated at the bar, tables or counter areas.
• Replaces beverage inventory as needed.
• Wipes counter areas, bar and tables and empties and wipes ash trays guests may be using. Assists bartenders in setting up service bars and portable bars.
• Maintains all aspects of the Beverage Control System, including daily mechanical maintenance.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines and as outlined in PRIDE certification. Position is located in a cigarette‑smoke environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Must be neat in appearance. Experience as bu sperson preferred.
• Is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Is fluent on Microsoft Office software products, and is viewed as an outstanding team player.
• Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
