Job summary

Sugar Bowl Resort in California seeks an energetic Bar Back to support the Food and Beverage team and keep the bar, lounge, and equipment spotless. You’ll stock supplies, prepare garnishes, syrups, and batched cocktails, and assist bartenders as directed.

We hire for both full-time and part-time roles. Applicants must be 21+ with excellent guest service and clear English communication. Benefits include 401k, ski passes, discounts on food and lift tickets.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Outgoing personality with guest-focused approach.
• Excellent guest service skills and a passion for memorable experiences.
• Clear, effective English communication with staff and guests.
• Previous cash handling experience is a plus.
• Willing to learn new skills and support other departments.

Responsibilities

• Stock ice and keep the bar ready to pour.
• Prepare fruit trays, syrups, and garnishes backstage.
• Batch cocktails to keep drinks flowing.
• Restock beer, liquor, wine, glassware, and mixers.
• Change kegs and manage taps.
• Assist with receiving and rotation to keep items fresh.
