Job summary

Tillery Restaurant in Owings Mills seeks a Bar Back to support the serving team on Saturdays and Sundays, 11:00am to closing. The candidate will deliver items from the kitchen and stock areas, maintain par levels, and support bar operations while ensuring proper temperatures and a neat appearance.

Required 1–2 years in food service and bar back roles; HS diploma preferred. Knowledge of liquor liability policies and basic food safety is expected; ServSafe alcohol or food handler certifications

Qualifications

• 1-2 years: Previous bar back experience is required. (required)
• 1-2 years: Previous food service experience is required. (required)
• Licenses & Certifications: ServSafe Alcohol Awareness (preferred)
• Licenses & Certifications: Certified Food Handler (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Deliver items from kitchen, storage rooms, coolers, and freezers.
• Adhere to established par stock levels.
• Maintain an awareness of rotating product, minimize waste, and be mindful of cost of products.
• Must be familiar with all policies related to liquor liability laws.
• Assists in concessions or bar area as needed such as filling up condiments, point of purchase displays, stocking shelves, and wiping down services.
• Ensures correct temperatures of hot and cold food and beverage products.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Food Runner
