Gilmore Collection, a well-established West Michigan restaurant and entertainment leader for over 30 years, seeks a Bar Back to support bartenders and maintain an organized, well-stocked bar. You will handle stocking, glassware, and beverage prep, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Stocking and replenishing bar supplies including alcohol, glassware, and ice.
• Prepare and organize beverage components like mixes and garnishes.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Safely transport heavy items such as glass racks and beverage cases.
• Comfortable with liquids and proficient with bar knives and blenders.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow written and spoken instructions.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Enhance guest experience by anticipating needs and maintaining service quality.
• Welcome guests and interact with a friendly, sincere approach.
• Handle difficult guest situations with tact to ensure satisfaction.
• Carefully and safely change beer kegs, CO2 tanks, and soda dispensers.
• Wash and sanitize glassware per health standards.
• Maintain accurate bar inventory and security records.
• Identify signs of intoxication and consult management as needed.
• Answer menu and bar offering questions with knowledge.
• Follow all service steps and dietary/allergy procedures.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and training programs.
• Collaborate with bar team to foster a positive work environment.
• Perform additional duties to support bar operations.
