Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) is seeking a Bar Back to join the Cigars International Retail & Hospitality Team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You will support bartenders, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

You will work on a team that values reliability, efficiency, and a strong work ethic, with opportunities to grow within a leading cigar company in the nation.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Experience in bar/restaurant hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fully stocked ice bins, liquor wells, and beer coolers for bartenders.
• Assist cocktail servers and support staff by clearing and resetting tables.
• Support trash removal and recycling throughout the facility.
• Communicate operational concerns to the Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests.
• Rotate and replace kegs as needed.
• Assist cleaning, bussing, stocking, and organization of glassware.
• Keep guest areas clean and debris-free.
• Uphold sanitation standards throughout the facility.
• Provide excellent support to bartenders and service staff in a high-volume setting.

As our new Bar Back, you will be part of the Cigars International Retail & Hospitality Team and play an important role in supporting daily bar operations and ensuring exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with bartenders, servers, and management to maintain efficient service standards and support the overall success of the business. What your day will look like

• Maintaining fully stocked ice bins, liquor wells, and beer coolers for bartenders.
• Assisting cocktail servers and support staff by clearing and resetting tables.
• Supporting trash removal and recycling efforts throughout the facility.
• Communicating operational concerns and guest-related issues to the Manager on Duty.
• Assisting management with maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

• Keeping guest-facing areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
