Scandinavian Tobacco Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Bar Associate (Bartender/Server) to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced retail and hospitality setting. You will handle beverage service, assist with merchandising, and support daily bar operations.

The role requires 3 years in bar/restaurant work, 21+ years old, knowledge of beer, spirits, and wine, and valid Alcohol Serving and Food Handler certifications. A strong team player with excellent service mentality is preferred.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 3 years of bar/restaurant experience (at least 2 years bartending).
• Strong knowledge of craft beer, spirits, and wine.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to frequently lift 5–75 pounds and remain standing.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Warmly greet guests and take beverage orders.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure all alcohol service complies with applicable state laws and company policies.
• Engage with guests, build rapport, and anticipate customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently.
• Assist team members as needed to support smooth daily operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every shift.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Support additional business activities including merchandising, sales initiatives, and special events when required.

What You'll Bring

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 3 years of bar or restaurant experience, including at least 2 years of bartending experience.
• Strong knowledge of craft beer, spirits, and wine.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Current Alcohol Serving Certification.
• Current Food Handler Certification.
• Experience using POS systems.
• Ability to frequently lift between 5 and 75 pounds and remain standing or walking throughout shifts.
• Ability to work in an environment with cigar smoke and occasional loud music.
• Professional demeanor with a strong team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Flair bartending experience.
