Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality, within Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico, is seeking a motivated Bar Back to join our operations on the oceanfront property in Rio Grande. You will support bartenders, keep the bar stocked and clean, and ensure a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced resort setting.

This entry-level role offers hands-on training, opportunities to grow with a world-class property, and a team dedicated to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, juices, water, garnishes, glassware, ice, napkins, straws, and other required supplies.
• Replenish bar products before they reach critical levels.
• Maintain organized and sanitary storage and service areas.
• Transport beverage products from designated storage locations according to established procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing bar setup.
• Wash, polish, organize, and replenish glassware.
• Maintain adequate ice throughout service.
• Remove trash, empty bottles, cardboard, and other waste continuously.
• Maintain clean floors, counters, sinks, coolers, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with receiving and storing beverage products when assigned.
• Follow product rotation and storage standards.
• Immediately communicate shortages, breakage, equipment issues, or unusual product usage.
• Never consume, distribute, transfer, or remove beverage products without authorization.
• Assist Bartenders during high-volume service while remaining within the responsibilities permitted for the classification.
• Support other resort bars as assigned based on business needs.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
