The Barback is responsible for maintaining inventory by transporting, stocking, and cleaning/clearing products. They perform tasks to support the bartender and other staff members, including opening and closing duties, transporting products and stock items, and assisting with reordering to meet business and guest needs. Responsibilities may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, napkins, ensuring clean towels and glassware for bartenders.
• Deliver products and use transfer sheets to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the appearance of workstations and guest service areas.
• Ensure the bar is stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Check taps and appliances to ensure proper functioning and change out kegs as needed.
• Keep the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash.
• Provide excellent guest service with a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure the security of company assets.

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks quickly.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires constant standing and walking.
This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
