Job Description

The Barback is responsible for maintaining inventory, transporting, stocking, and cleaning/clearing products. They support bartenders and other staff members by assisting with opening and closing duties, transporting products, and aiding in reordering processes to meet business and guest needs. Responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist with opening and closing duties, such as restocking garnishes, straws, napkins, and ensuring bartenders have clean towels and glassware.
2. Deliver products and use transfer sheets to maintain inventory accuracy.
3. Clean, sanitize, and maintain the appearance of workstations and guest service areas.
4. Ensure the bar is stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
5. Check taps and appliances for proper functioning and change kegs as needed.
6. Maintain cleanliness by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash.
7. Provide excellent guest service with a positive attitude towards guests, customers, and colleagues.
8. Follow Aramark safety policies, including food safety and sanitation procedures.
9. Ensure the security of company assets.
