Hyatt Regency Portland is seeking an on-call Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service at our convention center venue. As part of the banquets team, you’ll support events from setup to breakdown, ensuring a polished presentation and attentive guest experience.

Work hours are flexible, with shifts in the evenings and on weekends. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.80 plus service charges and eligibility for Hyatt benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage service at hotel banquet functions and ensure space is visually appealing.
• Set up, execute, and break down all planned Food and Beverage events.
• Read and execute events as shown on event orders; maintain a sanitary environment.
• Assist with linen, table setting, and beverage service as needed.

On-Call Event servers are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They make sure function space visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service Banquet servers are responsible for the set-up, execution and break down of all planned Food and Beverage events. This position requires reading and executing events as displayed on event orders. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

This position requires an Oregon Food Handlers Card and OLCC Service Permit.
