Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe International is seeking a banquet server to provide guests with efficient, professional and hospitable service during events, working closely with the kitchen, hosts and event staff. You will help setup and breakdown, follow BEOs and banquet standards, and strive to create memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities include read and follow the BEO, set up private events, maintain standards, assist with equipment, stay organized, and maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Performing duties which require bending & reaching.
• Able to lift up to 25-pounds.
• Standing or walking on the floor for up to 8+ hours.
• Maintaining a well-groomed appearance and following uniform guidelines.
• Practicing all safety & sanitation standards.
• Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.

• Breakdown of all areas and proper storage of all banquet equipment
• Understand and follow through with all policies and procedures of the Banquet Department and the Hard Rock Organization
• Work as a team with all other servers and staff
• Be at your very best at all times and create an experience for our guests that is memorable and beyond their expectations
• Any other and all duties assigned by the Banquet Manager/Captain

Job Objective

• To provide for the best possible handling of the guest's needs by serving them in an efficient, professional and hospitable manner


• To provide that service by working in cooperation with the kitchen, roadies, hosts and all other employees


• To work with management to ensure the success of each event


• To work within the Hard Rock Café Mission and Values

Job Requirements Include

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a banquet server and/or bartender


• Versed in banquet table service


• Available to work a wide variety of shifts and schedules
