POSITION:

Solitude is looking for a committed and easygoing individual with a passion for the food industry. The prep cook is an entry-level position under the supervision of the sous chef and head chef. The prep cook will assist in the culinary operations of the restaurant kitchen. The dishwashing role involves maintaining all dishes, silverware, glasses, and kitchen equipment in a clean and sanitized condition. Specific Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as a dishwasher or prep cook
• Enthusiasm and willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Knowledge of kitchen and dishwashing equipment, cleaning supplies, and detergents
• Ability to assist with cleaning and food prep
• Ability to work under pressure and take orders
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Obtain and maintain necessary licenses such as Food Handler's Permit

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in all kitchen cleaning duties including station tear down, dishwashing, and equipment cleaning
• Assist Kitchen Manager with receiving orders to ensure proper storage
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
