Job summary

voco Sandpiper All‑Inclusive Resort seeks a Banquets Manager to orchestrate events end‑to‑end. You’ll oversee banquet operations, coordinate staff, and ensure cost control while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Requirements include a high school diploma with at least 2 years in hotel settings, strong communication, problem-solving, and current food safety/certification readiness. This role is full‑time in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Qualifications

• Need high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of progressive hotel or related experience; supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to handle under-pressure decisions.
• Capable of analyzing information from multiple sources and performing basic arithmetic.
• Must stay current with required food safety and service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate banquets operations, ensuring smooth events from setup to cleanup.
• Coach and supervise team; hire, train, and support staff growth.
• Maintain cost control while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Uphold safety standards and Aimbridge Hospitality guidelines during events.
