Job summary

Paycom - ATS at Agua Caliente Palm Springs seeks an On-Call Server to deliver friendly, prompt service to casino and hotel guests.

You will know the menu, specials, beverages, and wine lists, follow the service sequence, and keep your station clean while assisting teammates. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; 1–2 years in full-service dining is preferred.

Must adhere to internal controls for receipts and safety standards, and be flexible for shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience in full-service dining preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsible for providing knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverages to our casino and hotel guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Have a full working knowledge of the menu, specials, beverages and wine lists.
• Follows the correct sequence of service at all times.
• Clears, cleans, resets, and maintains station during shift.
• Assists other servers in giving the best possible service.
• Handles guests receipts according to internal controls.
• Assures F&;B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations.
• Remains up-to-date on property events and hours of operation for all F&;B outlets.May be assigned to Food & Beverage work stations of the casino and/or hotel.
• Provide excellent guest service.Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED

Qualifications: Required Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Restaurant & 1-2 years of related experience in full-service dining preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalated when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
