Job summary

Agua Caliente Palm Springs is hiring for a Full Time Food & Beverage role to assist servers in delivering meals and maintaining dining areas. The position requires standing and moving around the casino property, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a smoke-influenced environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and about six months of related experience. Training will cover SOPs and safety standards within the ACCRS framework.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

• Delivers food to the guests
• Cleans, resets and maintains tables.
• Assists in side work and maintains all side stations.
• Stocks service areas of the food and beverage departments.
• Informs the supervisor when stock is needed.
• Refills ice wells as needed.
• Keeps a clean and orderly work area.
• May be required to work in all food and beverage areas at the direction of the Food & Beverage Supervisor or above.
• Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time. Also, may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will evolve when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
